Abstract

Organizations of all kinds must identify, develop and maintain competitive advantages that allow them to position themselves properly in a market characterized by its high dynamism. Mexican firms face a situation that presents a dilemma: to adjust to new ways of doing business or disappear from the market. This has led microenterprises to consider international expansion as a strategic alternative. This research focuses on the identification of strategic variables and drivers, such as Attributes of the international entrepreneur, Financing, Competitive advantages, Target market, Promotion and Entry mode that affect the internationalization of Mexican microenterprises, for the purpose of consolidating their effective positioning and contributing to the social and economic improvement of the country.
