The present research work proposes the study of the effect of laser welding parameters performed on an aluminum plate (AA6061), by means of a statistical analysis. This design will be carried out with the implementation of a Design of Experiments (DoE), with which it will be possible to evaluate the geometry of the welding beads. The main factors involved that modify this morphology are the oscillation amplitude of the laser beam and the power. The macrographs obtained allowed observing that the modification of the oscillation amplitude of the laser beam (wobble) has a notable impact on the geometry of the beads, obtaining square and conical geometries according to its manipulation. Likewise, the laser power is another factor that influences the penetration of the bead.
